This weekend sees the return of the #MGReadathon, and the question is how many middle grade books can you read in 48 hours (minimal sleeping, cleaning, or interacting with others required!!). It sounds great fun – see all the details here.
I am going to join in and will endeavour not to embarrass myself too much by only getting through a few books! I shall start this evening after work (about 6pm Irish time). Here are the first few on my list:
Wish me luck!

Looking forward to this magical fantasy! (I had a sneak peek inside and it looks great!)

I read and enjoyed book 1, the humorous The Dragon in the Library, so looking forward to seeing what adventures wizard-in-training Kit gets up to next!

This sounds a fun and imaginative family adventure!
Good luck, Valinora! Oh, Monster in the Lake looks good!

Harrison is always a good choice. Are you going to do Cybils again? This is a great chance to read some books you think m ight be nominated!

Yes, I loved it! I’d love to do Cybils again, maybe in 2 or 3 years. Have too much on this year though. π

What a great set of books for the challenge, Valinora! The cover of A Pinch of Magic is absolutely stunning, and I’ve heard great things about The Dragon in the Library and its sequels. I’m getting ready to join the challenge tomorrow morningβI’m excited!

I hope you are knocking off those books in speedy fashion. I’m about done here with one more to go before my 48 hours are done. Best of luck!
